Good Neighbor Festival Brings Community Together in Renovo

RENOVO — The Greater Renovo Area Heritage Park welcomed residents and visitors on Saturday for the Good Neighbor Festival, offering an afternoon of food, entertainment and community fun.

The Good Neighbor Festival served as a fundraiser for Vinnie Kishbaugh, who was recently diagnosed and is in need of a liver transplant.

Festival-goers enjoyed a variety of food and refreshments while trying their luck with basket raffles and a popular 50-50 drawing. The event provided a chance for friends, neighbors and families to gather and celebrate the summer in a relaxed atmosphere.

Live entertainment kicked off at noon with local husband-and-wife duo 2 a.m., whose energetic mix of country, classic rock and popular favorites kept the crowd entertained throughout their performance.

Taking the stage later in the afternoon, Bob and Linda Kelley continued the musical lineup, providing an enjoyable performance that rounded out the day’s festivities.

The Good Neighbor Festival once again highlighted the strong sense of community that continues to make the Greater Renovo Area Heritage Park a gathering place for local events and celebrations.
