SOUTH RENOVO — The Citizens Hose Company of South Renovo is inviting the community to enjoy a delicious meal while supporting the local volunteer fire company during its Chicken Barbecue on Saturday, August 1.
Serving will begin at 11 a.m. at the Citizens Hose Company, with dinners available for $15 each. The meal includes a half chicken, macaroni salad and baked beans.
In addition to the meal, visitors can take part in basket raffles and browse a baked goods table, offering even more ways to support the fire company.
The fundraiser helps support the operations of Citizens Hose Company No. 28, allowing the volunteer firefighters to continue providing emergency services to the South Renovo community.
Residents are encouraged to come early, as the event often draws a strong turnout.
The Citizens Hose Company thanked the community for its continued support and looks forward to another successful event benefiting the local fire department.
