Farwell- Softball head coach Mike Poorman is enthusiastic about his young roster. The building blocks are in place and his seventh and eighth grade classes are showing a lot of promise entering this season.

That season begins September 1 when the Lady Bucks host Millville.

Bucktail is set to play their usual Mid Penn foes like Muncy, Montgomery, Sullivan County and Millville, but have their share of non conference opponents.

They will battle Central Mountain in a pair of contests, with the second meeting with the Lady Wildcats on September 28 in Farwell.

Coach Poorman’s squad heads to battle in the Shikellamy Tournament on September 18 and 19. They will also travel to Williamsport for a tournament on September 25 and 26.

Bucktail will also host South Williamsport and Jersey Shore in big time showdowns. The Jersey Shore game is set for October 8. That game is slated to be the season finale.

For the first time in program history, the junior high program will have games broadcasted. This live games on Railroad City Sports are scheduled for September 1 vs Millville, September 15 vs Sullivan County, September 28 vs Central Mountain and October 8 vs Jersey Shore.
