Farwell- Bucktail once again found themselves in a first half hole and once again they battled back only to come up short.

Visiting Otto-Eldred found two first quarter scores and built a 14-6 lead after one quarter.

Corbin Pentz and Stephen Heiser both provided first half touchdowns, but the missed tackles led to the Terrors building a 22-12 lead heading to halftime.

Otto was driving late in the first half, but Nick Dennis picked off Otto-Eldred quarterback Ryan Schenfield to stop the Terrors’ drive.

Otto-Eldred built a 28-12 lead in the third quarter, but a late game score from Levi Stevenson and a successful two-point conversion had the Bucks within knotting things up with the visitors.

Bucktail’s defense failed to stop Otto-Eldred, as the Terrors ran out the clock and the captured the win.

Bucktail, now 0-2 will next be in action on September 18 when they host Moniteau at 7pm.
