Farwell- The parade and bonfire is in the rearview mirror and now it’s time for the Bucks and Falcons to clash at Dwyer Memorial Field for Bucktail’s 2026 homecoming game.
Coudy beat up on the Bucks two weeks ago by a 41-14 margin, but Bucktail will be looking to learn from those mistakes after an open date last week.
The Falcons enter Friday night’s rematch at 2-5 after being trounced by Smethport 66-28 last week. Bucktail trailed Coudersport 14-8 after one half in their previous meeting and then Christian Driskell happened.
Key Players
Driskell scorched Bucktail for 219 yards and became the third opposing running back to eclipse 200 yards against the Bucks. Bucktail gave up a 100-yard rusher in each of their other two losses to Moniteau and Otto-Eldred. Stopping Driskell is key for the Bucktail defense if they want a shot at ending their 25 game on the field losing streak. Thee Bucks last claimed victory in an actual game on October 6, 2023 at Elk County Catholic.
For the Bucks a possible key component could be senior Jaden Intallura, who is also up for Homecoming King Friday night. Intallura will be tasked with flanking the Bucks’ defensive assault on Driskell. Intallura was a workhorse in the Bucktail backfield the past couple seasons, but he is yet to get a carry in 2026. Will Friday be his night?
Levi Stevenson ran and caught the ball well the last time out against the Falcons.
