Farwell- Bucktail students will be able to register for winter sports without their families paying registration fees, thanks to a community fundraiser and support from Dollars for Scholars.
The organization will make one payment directly to the school district to cover all Bucktail winter sports registrations.
Families should register their child for the sport and indicate whether it is the student’s first, second or third sport of the school year, whichever applies. Parents are asked not to pay the registration fee; Dollars for Scholars will cover it.
The program is funded and sponsored by Dollars for Scholars, an independent community initiative. It is not sponsored by or affiliated with any school booster club.
Organizers said the goal is to give every student the opportunity to participate in sports without registration fees becoming a financial burden for families. They thanked everyone who contributed to making the program possible.
Families who need the registration link should contact the school. For questions about the registration process, contact the school directly.
